Honda aimed the Acty at agriculture and forestry — its "Attack" grade was explicitly a farming model, with creeper gears and a rear differential lock as standard. Cab-over packaging puts the driver ahead of the front axle, which is how Honda got a working bed onto a vehicle only 330cm long overall. The Acty's defining trick is where the engine lives: mounted transversely amidships under the load bed rather than under the cab. It looks like a cab-over, but structurally it is a mid-engined vehicle.
