What We Do
Japanese Work Trucks, Landed And Delivered
Bucks Mini Trucks imports and sells Japanese kei trucks and mini trucks, along with kei vans, mini dump trucks and other JDM vehicles. We are based at 1560 Aurora Ave Ln, Aurora, Illinois — north-eastern Illinois, in the Chicago metropolitan area — and we deliver to all 50 states.
These are the small four-wheeled workhorses that Japan built for farms, trades and narrow streets: the Honda Acty, Suzuki Carry, Daihatsu Hijet, Subaru Sambar and Mitsubishi Minicab, all built to a class limit of 660 cc and 1.48 m of width. They go down paths a full-size pickup cannot and park where it cannot, and they have found a second life on American farms, ranches, job sites, campsites and grounds crews.
Our part of the job is the awkward part: importing the vehicle, handling customs and the title paperwork that comes with it, and getting it onto a trailer to your address. You are buying from stock that is already in the country, not commissioning a shipment from Japan — which is why delivery is measured in days.

Of those 945 vehicles, 505 are recorded as four-wheel drive and 684 as manual. Priced listings run from $3,920 to $39,995 with a midpoint around $7,795; some vehicles carry no price online, in which case call us for it.
How Buying From Us Works
1. Pick a vehicle, and ask before you commit
Listings carry photos, and many carry video, along with the engine code, drivetrain, transmission, colour and odometer where we have them. If a field is blank we do not have it recorded — ask and we will go and check the vehicle rather than guess.
2. Reserve with a deposit, or pay in full
A $500 deposit per vehicle takes it off the market and we contact you to arrange the balance. Paying in full at checkout — vehicles plus $350 delivery each — goes straight to the next stage. Card runs through Stripe, so your card details never reach us; a bank transfer holds the vehicle for five days while funds clear.
3. We prepare the vehicle and its documents
Your bill of sale and the ownership and import documents that belong to that vehicle are put together, and we confirm the delivery address with you. Ask for the document list for a specific vehicle before you order if it matters to your plans — and it usually does.
4. It is delivered to your door
Flat $350 per vehicle to all 50 states, each on its own trailer, typically one to three days after dispatch. Full detail is on the shipping page.
What We Do, And What We Do Not
Worth saying out loud, because the things below are what most often catch buyers out late.
We inspect every vehicle before it ships
Every vehicle is inspected before it is loaded on a trailer — not a sample, not the expensive ones, all of them. If something turns up on a vehicle you have ordered, you hear about it from us before it is dispatched, not after it arrives.
We are not a lender
We sell for payment in full — card through Stripe’s hosted checkout, or bank transfer. We do not lend, and we do not refer you to anyone who does. If you need to borrow to buy, arrange it with your own bank or credit union first.
We do not publish state-by-state legality
Registration rules for imported kei trucks are set state by state and they are not uniform. Rather than print a list that might be wrong for your county, we would rather you told us where you are and checked with your own titling agency before ordering.
We do not title or register for you
We handle the import side — customs and the paperwork that comes with the vehicle. Titling and registration happen in your state, in your name, and taxes and fees there are the buyer’s responsibility.
We do not promise a delivery date
One to three days after dispatch is what delivery normally takes, and our terms treat that as an estimate. We will tell you when a vehicle is dispatched rather than guess at a date when you order.
