What an Acty Van is

This is the van-bodied side of the Acty family, sharing the truck's mid-engine layout under an enclosed body. Cab-over packaging puts the driver ahead of the front axle, which is how Honda got a working bed onto a vehicle only 340cm long overall. Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place.

The mechanical side of this Acty Van

Under it is the E07Z, a 660cc engine. Gearbox on this Acty Van is an automatic gearbox, driving two-wheel drive.

On the paperwork it measures 340cm × 148cm × 189cm. Recorded figures include a kerb weight of 940kg, a rated load capacity of 350kg and 9.51m³ of measured cargo volume. Body type on the 1999 paperwork reads Kei van, Vans, seating 2. Carrying 350kg on a 940kg kerb weight is the kind of ratio that only comes from designing the whole vehicle around the load.
