What an Acty Van is

This is the van-bodied side of the Acty family, sharing the truck's mid-engine layout under an enclosed body. Getting 350kg of rated payload out of a mid-engined layout is harder than doing it with the engine under the seats, and Honda did it anyway. Honda aimed the Acty at agriculture and forestry — its "Attack" grade was explicitly a farming model, with creeper gears and a rear differential lock as standard.

How this 1999 Acty Van is put together

Power comes from the E07Z, a 660cc unit. A 1999 build puts this on the injected E07Z rather than the earlier carburetted engines, which is the practical difference you notice on a cold morning. Drive reaches the road through a 5-speed manual gearbox, two-wheel drive.

Living with an Acty Van

A closed body keeps the load dry and locked, which is the trade you make against the open bed of the truck version. It is on our books as HDAV1001169R0710, and what this listing records is what we hold on file for it. The asking price is $5,550.
