Because Honda kept the Acty mid-engined throughout, the E07Z in this one sits behind the seats and under the deck rather than beneath them — every rival put its engine under the seat or at the very back. It looks like a cab-over, but structurally it is a mid-engined vehicle. Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place.
