About the 1999 Suzuki Carry

Suzuki has supplied the Carry to other manufacturers to badge as their own — Mazda since 1989, later Nissan and Mitsubishi — so the same underlying truck circulates under several names, which is another reason the parts supply runs deep. The Carry moved to a semi-cab-over nose in January 1999, but the engine stayed under the driver's seat — the change was to the bodywork, not to the layout. The F6A fitted here is one of Suzuki's own kei engines, a design the company used across a very large number of vehicles.
