About the 1994 Honda Acty

Because Honda kept the Acty mid-engined throughout, the E07A in this one sits behind the seats and under the deck rather than beneath them — every rival put its engine under the seat or at the very back. Most Actys left the factory in plain white for the Japanese trade market; White is what this one carries now. Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place.

Under it is the E07A, a 660cc 3-cylinder single-cam engine. Honda stayed with a single overhead camshaft and twelve valves for the Acty right through to the end of production in 2021, rather than moving to twin cams. The 660cc engine drives through a manual gearbox.
