About This Vehicle
2025 Daihatsu Hijet Deck Van, finished in Black, came to us straight out of the Japanese domestic market.
Hijet Deck Van: engine and drivetrain
This Hijet Deck Van carries the KF: a fuel-injected 660cc 3-cylinder engine. A 2025 Daihatsu on the KF is running the company's current-generation kei engine rather than a legacy design. Gearbox on this Hijet Deck Van is a CVT automatic gearbox, driving four-wheel drive.
Specifics for this Hijet Deck Van

What a Hijet Deck Van is
Daihatsu supplies the Hijet to other makers for rebadging — Toyota since 2011, Subaru since 2012 — and it was licence-built abroad as the Piaggio Porter in Italy and the Asia Towner in Korea. Daihatsu sold the Hijet in an unusually wide spread of factory body styles — flatbed, PTO dump, panel van, canvas top, the extended-cab Jumbo from 1983 and the four-seat Deck Van from 1988 — because Japanese buyers specified them for particular trades. Every four-wheel-drive Minicab from 1984 onward got twelve-inch front disc brakes and automatic free-wheeling front hubs as standard.
Ownership and import of this Hijet Deck Van
Four-wheel drive in a van body is an unusual combination outside Japan, and it is the reason these get used well past the end of the pavement. As a 2025 vehicle this sits inside the 25-year window rather than outside it, so talk to us about how that applies where you are before committing. Price on this one is $30,500.
