The 1993 Acty in context

Honda's four-wheel-drive Actys use an on-demand Real Time system built around a viscous coupling, so drive goes rearward when it is needed rather than when the driver remembers to select it. By 1993 Honda had been iterating on the Acty for well over a decade, and it shows in how resolved the packaging is. Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place.

Ownership and import of this Acty

Farms, vineyards, ranches, grounds crews and building sites are where Actys end up in the US, for the same reasons they ended up there in Japan — Japanese sources describe the kei truck as a necessity for moving tools, crops and catch. We imported this 1993 Acty ourselves and sell it directly — there is no Honda franchise between you and the vehicle. The asking price is $4,725.
