About This Vehicle

Currently available: a 2000 Honda Acty Truck, finished in Blue, imported by us from Japan.

What an Acty Truck is

The Acty's defining trick is where the engine lives: mounted transversely amidships under the load bed rather than under the cab. It looks like a cab-over, but structurally it is a mid-engined vehicle. Honda's Real Time 4WD used a viscous coupling from 1988 onward, and the Attack farming grade added ultra-low and ultra-low-reverse creeper gears on top of it. Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place.

Body and payload on this Acty Truck

Recorded dimensions are 340cm long, 148cm wide and 175cm tall. Recorded figures include a kerb weight of 830kg, a rated load capacity of 350kg and 8.80m³ of measured cargo volume. Recorded as Kei truck, Trucks with seating for 2, model year 2000.

The paperwork on this 2000 Acty Truck

A 2000 vehicle showing 111500 km, recorded with a condition of used. The listing records Electronic fuel injection.

Mechanical specification of this Acty Truck

Power comes from the E07Z, a 660cc unit. A 2000 build puts this on the injected E07Z rather than the earlier carburetted engines, which is the practical difference you notice on a cold morning. The HA7 runs a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Owning an Acty Truck

Two seats and a working bed is the whole proposition: this was built to carry things, not people. Built in 2000, this Acty Truck is 26 years old and clears the 25-year threshold at which imported vehicles are exempt from US federal motor vehicle safety standards conformity.
