1998 Suzuki Carry Truck#BUC75315

We have this 1998 Suzuki Carry Truck on the lot, finished in White, imported direct from Japan.

Background: the Carry Truck

The Carry uses the classic kei arrangement — cab-over body, engine mounted longitudinally under the driver's seat, drive to the rear — which keeps everything short-coupled and within reach. The F6A fitted here is one of Suzuki's own kei engines, a design the company used across a very large number of vehicles. Fitting a full kei payload onto a chassis 330cm long is a tighter packaging problem than most full-size pickups ever face.

What is on file for this Carry Truck

A 1998 vehicle showing 82900 km, recorded with a condition of used.

1998 Suzuki Carry Truck: footprint and load rating

It is listed at 330cm in length, 140cm in width and 178cm in height. Recorded figures include a kerb weight of 730kg, a rated load capacity of 350kg and 8.22m³ of measured cargo volume. Recorded as Kei truck, Trucks with seating for 2, model year 1998. Carrying 350kg on a 730kg kerb weight is the kind of ratio that only comes from designing the whole vehicle around the load.

How this 1998 Carry Truck is put together

Power comes from the F6A, a 660cc unit. A 1998 vehicle on the F6A is running an engine Suzuki had already built in enormous numbers by that point. Drive reaches the road through a 5-speed manual gearbox with an extra-low crawler gear, four-wheel drive.

Living with a Carry Truck

2 up front and 350kg behind is the entire specification, and there is very little on it to go wrong. What you see is what we have: a White Carry Truck on our lot, not a listing for a vehicle still in an auction hall. Price on this one is $4,390.
