Background: the Acty Truck

Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place. Getting 350kg of rated payload out of a mid-engined layout is harder than doing it with the engine under the seats, and Honda did it anyway. Because Honda kept the Acty mid-engined throughout, the E07A in this one sits behind the seats and under the deck rather than beneath them — every rival put its engine under the seat or at the very back.

Mechanical specification of this Acty Truck

Power comes from the E07A, a 660cc unit. The HA4 runs a 5-speed manual gearbox.
