How this 2019 Suzuki is put together

Gearbox on this Suzuki is an automatic gearbox, driving four-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive on a truck this light matters less for speed than for not getting stuck: there is very little weight pressing the tyres into wet ground.

Living with a Suzuki

Four-wheel drive in a van body is an unusual combination outside Japan, and it is the reason these get used well past the end of the pavement. Bucks Mini Trucks buys and delivers Suzukis like this one; we are the seller, not a broker for someone else's stock. It is listed at $14,300. Japan's kei category exists because small vehicles are taxed and registered differently there, and the Suzuki was built specifically to qualify. Suzukis were bought in Japan for delivery rounds, trade work and mobile services, and the body reflects exactly that brief. What you see is what we have: a White Suzuki on our lot, not a listing for a vehicle still in an auction hall. Everything about a kei vehicle follows from the class rules — width, height, displacement and the shape of the cab are all downstream of the same regulation.
