About the 1999 Mitsubishi Minicab

Mitsubishi launched the Minicab in 1966 and kept it in the range for decades, making it one of the older continuously-built kei trucks. Mitsubishi ended in-house Minicab production in 2014; the truck that replaced it is a rebadged Suzuki, so every Mitsubishi-built Minicab is now a closed population. Four-wheel-drive Minicabs were specified for exactly the conditions this one was built for — wet fields, gravel tracks and loading yards. The later Minicab looks semi-cab-over because Mitsubishi pushed the front axle forward for a crush zone, but the engine still sits under the driver's seat, so structurally it remained a cab-over.
