Honda built the Acty from 1977 until April 2021, taking over from the TN series and, before that, the T360 of 1963 — the model that had put Honda into four-wheeled production in the first place. Honda aimed the Acty at agriculture and forestry — its "Attack" grade was explicitly a farming model, with creeper gears and a rear differential lock as standard. Japanese enthusiasts call the Acty 農道のNSX — "the NSX of the farm roads" — because it was the only mid-engined kei truck, in the same layout as Honda's supercar.
